Our EDIS approach emphasizes a partnership with SMC that begins with management excellence honed over the past five decades through our legacy companies' support of some of our nation’s highest priority and most complex space missions. TASC, a pivotal part of Engility’s legacy, was a part of Northrop Grumman and TRW for over 10 years. TASC combined with units of L-3 Corporation in 2015 to form Engility. Engility is a top US Government services contractor with over $2 billion in annual revenue, over 8,000 employees, and robust management tools for performing large engineering services contracts. Our space systems employees infuse technical knowledge and best practices from across the entire U.S. space enterprise into development and support of our customers’ missions. As a result, Team Engility’s enterprise approach to EDIS will accelerate EGS deployment to developmental and operational missions, implementing the ground services necessary to achieve the Air Force Space Enterprise Vision.
Our priority for staffing EDIS is focused on hiring the best staff. We welcome the opportunity to talk to incumbent EDS staff and encourage highly qualified and mission-focused individuals to apply for positions on the contract.
